EXCLUSIVE: Former TOWIE star Chloe Sims tells OK! what she makes of her cousin Joey Essex in Love Island - and why she thinks he was still single at 33
Joey Essex has had a rollercoaster time in this summer's Love Island so far, and his cousin Chloe Sims says she's been glued to her TV watching it all unfold.
She told us she had no idea he was signed up to the show - which she herself loves - and was totally shocked when the news landed with her Stateside. The pair, who previously dated outside the villa, were coupled up following Joey's first coupling with Samantha Kenny, and were getting on like a house on fire, until Jessy's arrival threw a spanner in the works.
“I think we know why he’s single," she laughed. "I know how much he wants to settle down and he’s definitely looking for love, but I think he thinks, ‘the grass is always greener’.
