Toyota Electrifies Classic AE86 With EV And Hydrogen Restomod Concepts | Carscoops carscoops
. Dubbed the Toyota AE86 BEV Concept, it features the same battery pack as a Toyota Prius PHEV and rocks the electric motor of a Tundra HEV. The result is an all-electric AE86 that delivers 68.4 kW and 140 lb-ft of torque but despite the electric powertrain, also manages to rock a six-speed manual transmission.
This concept also benefits from various other upgrades. Among these include the fitment of Bilstein shock absorbers, Endless brakes, a Nardi steering wheel, Bride seats, and Watanabe 14-inch wheels.
