Trader Joe’s announces date for store opening in Camp Hill
The California-based company announced its store at the Lower Allen Commons in Lower Allen Township is opening March 31.
A ribbon cutting is scheduled for 8 a.m. to celebrate the opening at 3545 Gettysburg Road at Routes 11/15. Store captain Jamie Brown, a 14-year veteran of the company, will be on hand with crew members. Fans have been eagerly awaiting Trader Joe’s arrival in the Harrisburg region for years. The closest stores operate in State College, suburban Philadelphia and Towson, Maryland.
The store’s interior will feature artwork highlighting the region and state including the Market Street bridge, white-tailed deer, roughed grouse, hemlock trees and Nittany Lion. Trader Joe’s stands out for its own branded, well-curated specialty products such as Everything But the Bagel seasoning, Cauliflower Gnocchi, Queso Fundido and Cinnamon Bun Spread.
