Master Builders CEO Denita Wawn says builders, subcontractors, and independent tradies are “shaking their heads” over the government’s industrial relations legislation.

Business groups have renewed calls urging the government that destructive industrial relations laws should be reviewed as they are concerned about the ability of independent contractors to remain independent.

“Builders and subcontractors and independent tradies are just shaking their heads - they are significantly concerned about the implications this bill has on them, on their capacity to be their own boss,” Ms Wawn told Sky News Australia.“This is the first time ever that you’ve had such a significant group of industry associations working so closely together. That in itself is a significant message to government.
