EXCLUSIVE: Sydney and Melbourne's top five roads of congestion hell have named. 9News
The worst gridlocked roads were identified exclusively forby global traffic data company TomTom, which analysed traffic flows in Australia's two biggest cities over the past two years.
Cleveland Street, a busy thoroughfare which cuts through Sydney's west and inner-city, ranked the most congested road in the NSW capital for snarled up lines of traffic. The top 5 worst congested roads in Sydney, according to data provided exclusively to 9News by global traffic data company TomTom.Rounding out the top five was Missenden Road in Sydney's inner-west, Old South Head Road in the city's eastern suburbs and South Dowling Street, which funnels traffic in and out of the CBD.
Bridge Road, a key route through Richmond into the CBD, was judged Melbourne's ugliest road for traffic.
