It's believed the woman had attempted to drive around a boom gate in Brisbane's south before her vehicle became trapped.It's believed the car got stuck on the railway tracks when the train hit.Witness Mark Trace rushed to help her.

"I asked her if she was okay, she said she was and she could feel her legs and everything like that.Paramedics inspected 70 passengers of the train for injuries after the collision.Scott Riedel from Queensland Rail said the traffic control boom gates were working at the time, and he urged Queenslanders to take care at rail crossings."Queensland Rail is asking everyone at level crossings to have safety at front of mind.
