Transfer gossip: Bellingham ‘chooses’ next club as Spurs ‘brace themselves’ for Chelsea bid for KaneJude Bellingham is once again the subject of some juicy Transfer Gossip. He has decided who he will play for next season, apparently! Also: Harry Kane to Chelsea? Surely not…The race to sign Borussia Dortmund sensation Jude Bellingham has been fierce, with Liverpool recently dropping out over fears he will be too expensive.
However, Madrid are adamant they will not pay any more than €120million , which could potentially hinder their pursuit. Fees closer to €150m have been thrown around in recent months and if City are willing to pay that, the England teenager could be wearing sky blue next season. Should Levy price his star player out of a move to Old Trafford, Kane would apparently be willing to run down his contract to leave for nothing. Both scenarios are beyond unthinkable and would not go down too well with the Spurs supporters, it is fair to say.
Kane and Pochettino spent five years together in north London and grew a ‘special bond’. It is not looking good from a Spurs point of view, it has to be said.At the age of 37, James Milner is a player in demand as he approaches the conclusion of his Liverpool contract. He has made 850 senior career appearances – including 326 for the Reds – and is still fit as a fiddle.
