We chat with TransformersRiseoftheBeasts star Peter Dinklage about collaborating with director Steven Caple Jr. and getting into the mindset of the villainous Scourge:

Maximals finally hit the big screen with Transformers: Rise of the Beasts. Ex-military technology expert In the new Transformers movie, Noah Diaz and museum researcher Elena Wallace stumble across a group of stranded Autobot and Maximal Transformers. Once they discover a world-ending threat is on the horizon, they team up with the Transformers to fight against Unicron and his minions to protect their planet.

Screen Rant spoke with Peter Dinklage about playing the villainous Scourge in Transformers: Rise of the Beasts. He explained how Caple helped immerse him in the world of Transformers since he was recording his lines after the film was shot. Dinklage also broke down Scourge's motivation. What Steven did was just get me fully informed what's happening in the film with the characters to get you immersed in there as much as possible, and then just have fun with the voice. It's the villain of the piece. You got to sound threatening, scary. And then when he is with Unicron, his boss, there's a bit of servitude there that you have to just sort of balance in the hierarchy of things. If you want low and creepy and growly, I'm your guy.

Before the internet really kicked in, we all had flip phones, the landline, answering machine that my cat would delete messages. She would see the blinking light and press delete.
