Ms King said this scheme will facilitate Aussie travellers who have been left disgruntled by airlines. It will also outline when it is appropriate for an airline to offer a cash refund instead of a travel voucher and will determine the length of delays that are considered “unreasonable”. “People with disability continue to encounter inaccessible facilities and services at airports and face unhelpful practices and systems adopted by airlines,” Ms Rishworth said.
