A fast-moving storm led to roof damage and downed trees after a Tornado Warning was issued for parts of New Jersey.

Multiple large trees were on the ground. Some were uprooted, while others were snapped.

Meanwhile, it appeared that one of the downed trees had fallen on a home. Other buildings suffered damage to their roof.Meanwhile, Lawrence Township Mayor John Ryan called in to Eyewitness News to share an update on the damage in the area.Officials are asking people to stay inside due to potential live wires in some locations. Officers are out assessing damage and assisting the community at large.

"We are getting reports from around the county of wind-related damage, downed trees and building damage," Mercer County said in a statement. "Our Mercer County road crews are en route to assist in local clean-ups, and I ask you to please stay off the roadways if possible."There are roughly 368 customers without power in Mercer County.
