The ceremonial tree was just recently planted.
A nationwide tree planting scheme named the Queen's Green Canopy invited people across the UK to 'plant a tree for the Jubilee’ in honour of the late Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth.
To mark the planting of two million trees nationwide under the scheme, a tree planting ceremony took place in Glasgow’s Tollcross Park, to celebrate Scotland’s efforts.QCP's CEO, Colonel Dan Rex, was joined by Glasgow’s Lord Provost Councillor Jacqueline McLaren and children and teachers from the local Winter Gardens Nursery to plant a tree in commemoration of the project's success.

"These plantings will benefit all of us for decades to come and provide a wonderful legacy to celebrate the life of The late Queen."
