The trial of the man accused of raping former Liberal staffer Brittany Higgins is set go ahead as planned.
Bruce Lehrmann is accused of sexually assaulting Ms Higgins inside a Parliament House office in 2019.Bruce Lehrmann has pleaded not guilty to one charge. This would have effectively put an end to any future trial, however their bid was unsuccessful.
