Australian boxing legend Johnny Famechon has died at the age of 77. 9News
In a rematch six months later in Japan, Famechon knocked Harada out in the 14th round.
Famechon's life was changed forever in 1991 when he was hit by a car in Sydney and badly injured. He suffered brain damage and a stroke and was lucky to survive.In 2012 Famechon was elevated to Legend status in the Australian National Boxing Hall of Fame, having also been inducted into the World Boxing Hall of Fame in 1997.
