Tributes have begun pouring in for the 23-year-old woman allegedly chased and shot dead by two men on a suburban street in Queensland. The young woman, identified as Chloe Jade Mason, also known as “CJ,” was found with a gunshot wound, unconscious and not breathing, outside a home in Caboolture shortly after midnight on Sunday. Police were called at about 12.10am to reports of a targeted attack on Railway Pde.
My daughter went to school with her and played rugby league with her at Beachmere when they were younger. So sad,” one social post said. Another commenter said: “RIP Beautiful woman I am thankful to have been friends with you in high school. You will be dearly missed”. “My big sister I am actually lost for words. Rest in Peace … I’m in shock,” another post said. Detective Inspector David Harbison on Sunday said investigators were treating the matter as a homicide.
