The convoy of choppers landed at a Scottish airport 🚁
Aircraft enthusiast were quite surprised when they spotted a trio of US airforce Black Hawk helicopters making their way north over Scotland on f lightradar.
The convoy of the iconic military choppers took off from RAF Leeming at around 12.45pm today and crossed the border just after 1pm. Duke 64, Duke 32 and Duke 59 flew over Edinburgh at around 1.15pm and continued to journey northward.The American helicopters climbed over the Cairngorm mountains, with one making a loop around Nairn, before they eventually came to a stop at Inverness Airport 2.40pm.It is currently unclear why the three choppers have stopped in Scotland.
