The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a cyclone warning for the north-west Top End, as residents brace for a wet, windy and 'uncomfortably humid' Christmas Day.
The Bureau of Meteorology on Friday issued a cyclone warning for the north-west including Darwin and the Tiwi Islands as well as the top of Western Australia.
"The system will bring heavy rainfall to the north-west Top End this weekend with two day totals of up to 200mm possible in some locations. Darwin has its"usual chance of a shower or storm" but will be"uncomfortably humid" with a high of 34C.Christmas Day weather
