The American Islamic Forum for Democracy’s Dr Mohamad Zuhdi Jasser says the Trump administration has seen to significant containment of Iran for the first time. “The appeasement campaign of eight years of Obama administration did nothing but empower the Mullahs, cause a genocide in Syria,” Dr Jasser told Sky News host Brent O’Halloran.
“I think it’s foolish for anyone to believe that money handed to regimes that are thugs and theocrats is somehow going to get to the people. “Now we’re seeing for the first time in the Trump administration period of just three-and-a-half years significant containment of the Iranians, their belligerence in the region has decreased significantly.”
