Donald Trump appeals to the US's highest court to keep his finances secret in a third case, as records about him were set for imminent release to Congressional Democrats.

Without a Supreme Court order, the banks would have to begin turning over records to House committees next week.

US District Judge Edgardo Ramos ruled in May that the subpoenas could be enforced, prompting Mr Trump's to appeal to the 2nd Circuit. They added that the President should not be prevented from contesting an"unprecedented demand for his personal papers" simply because the request was made to a third party.
