Outsiders co-host James Morrow believes US President Donald Trump has come out of the Hanoi Summit ‘ahead’, as he showed that ‘no deal is better than a bad deal’ for the country.
After talks in the Vietnam capital, President Trump confirmed that North Korea was willing to denuke but they wanted all sanctions lifted, which the US was unwilling to do. Mr Morrow says Trump gave a ‘presidential’ display following talks with North Korea leader Kim Jong Un, in a similar style to that of his State of the Union address on February 5.
