Donald Trump could face contempt of court charges following his rabble-raising speech to staunch supports after his arrest in New York last week.
Trump pleaded not guilty to the 34 charges of falsifying business records in the first degree in an arraignment hearing at a Manhattan courthouse on Wednesday.
But hours after his arraignment hearing, Trump returned to his palatial Mar-a-Lago mansion in Florida and attacked all corners of the political and judicial system. Political analyst Professor Joe Siracusa warned the former president needed to watch his words or risk further legal action. “Maybe the District Attorney of Manhattan will throw an obstruction charge against the president for trying to screw up the trial.”
