Sounds of multiple shots were heard at Donald Trump’s rally in Pennsylvania, before the former president was rushed off stage with blood on his face.
US President Joe Biden is speaking after a shooting at a Donald Trump campaign rally left at least two dead.
US Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, a Democrat, wrote that he was “horrified by what happened at the Trump rally in Pennsylvania and relieved that former President Trump is safe.”US Senator Bob Casey, a Pennsylvania Democrat, quickly issued a statement on X: “We noticed a guy bear-crawling up the roof of the building beside us, 50 feet away from us,” the man told the BBC.
“He was up there for three or four minutes ... we were telling the police, we were pointing at him for the Secret Service.”
