The widow of a father of two who was shot to death at a Donald Trump rally in Pennsylvania has revealed her husband’s final words.
The harrowing last words of a heroic father of two who was shot dead at the Donald Trump rally in Pennsylvania while protecting his family have been revealed.
Speaking to the New York Post, his wife Helen Comperatore repeated his final words, saying: “He just said ‘Get down!’ That was the last thing he said”. Mr Comperatore's daughter Allyson recounted being thrown to the ground with her mother as her father shielded their bodies, saying he died as a “real-life superhero”.
