US contributor Cam Stewart says President Donald Trump is “thumping his chest” as he heads back onto the campaign trail following a rapid recovery from the coronavirus. Mr Stewart told Sky News the president was about to begin a “barnstorming” schedule, holding two rallies a day. “You can be sure that if Donald Trump loses this election it won’t be because he hasn’t given it his all,” he said.

Mr Stewart said while Mr Trump was “absolutely everywhere”, his opposition Joe Biden was keeping low – which appeared to be a staple tactic of the Biden campaign. “I think the policy of Biden’s campaign is pretty much if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it,” Mr Stewart said. “It’s Trump absolutely everywhere, but the thing about Biden is he doesn’t need much oxygen to keep his steady lead.
