Still numb in disbelief, engulfed in the euphoria of Queensland’s emphatic triumph, Maroons winger Murray Taulagi says he and his fellow outside backs have the makings of a group that could dominate the State of Origin arena for the next decade.
They were then able to turn their resilience into attack – Tabuai-Fidow throwing the final pass for Taulagi’s first Origin try, before the latter produced a second-half in-field kick to put “The Hammer” over. “We have that chemistry off the field and I think you can really see it makes a big impact on the field.”
