TSA officers caught two people at Newark Airport checkpoints with guns in a seven day period.

TSA officials said Monday that a Fort Lee man was caught with a loaded .380 caliber gun in his duffle bag on Aug. 25. That happened seven days after a Newark woman, who works in an airport retail shop, was stopped on her way to work after TSA officers detected her loaded 9mm gun at the checkpoint on Aug. 18.
