Hours after confirmation Tim Tszyu won’t get a re-match, the Australia n’s career is reportedly, suddenly heading in a new direction.Hours after news emerged the Australia n will not get a second shot at Sebastian Fundora, widespread reports state talks have begun for Tszyu to fight Vergil Ortiz Jr in Las Vegas in August.
WBO executives released a statement on Tuesday morning announcing it will sanction Crawford’s planned August 3 bout against WBA champ Israil Madrimov as a WBO interim title fight with the winner to fight Fundora later this year.Instead he is reportedly expected to feature as the co-main event on the Crawford mega-fight night, which will also feature former heavyweight champion Andy Ruiz Jr, to be held in Los Angeles on August 3.
