A world title shot might not be in the picture but several other options are now available to Australia's No.1 boxer. 9WWOS

Tim Tszyu might not be fighting for a world title this year but the No.2 ranked WBO super-welterweight star has plans of fighting locally before Christmas.

The WBO considered an application for Tszyu to face the current champion in Australia before the end of the year but has since rescheduled the bout with Castano. While Tszyu will see his next bout as a tune up fight for a possible clash with the winner of Teixeira and Castano next year, several local fighters have been discussed as potential opponents.

Lewis hasn't been able to fight since his loss to undefeated American Sebastian Fundora at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas in February. Both are Sydney fighters and the fight would be easy to promote with their history.
