The official dog of the Seattle Seahawks — Turf — has passed away, the dog’sTurf’s official title was “Wildlife Manager and Irrigation Specialist” at the team’s Renton practice facility, the Virginia Mason Athletic Center.
The dog had been going through some hard times recently and been battling cancer through surgeries and chemotherapy. One of his surgeries included the amputation of a front leg. During his struggles, the Seahawks provided updates on the beloved dog and many of his fans wished him a speedy recovery.Our resident Wildlife Manager and Irrigation Specialist had a successful surgery and made an appearance at our team meeting. Thank you to those who kept him in your thoughts. 💙
