have been told they will know whether they will lose their jobs via an email sent by 1am Saturday morning, AEDT.
In an email sent to all full-time employees worldwide and provided to 9news.com.au, the company announced there would be cutbacks. "By 9am PST on Friday November 4th , everyone will receive an individual email with the subject line: Your Role at Twitter," the email announcement reads."Please check your email, including your spam folder."
The email sent earlier today said all offices would be temporarily closed and access suspended "to help ensure the safety of each employee as well as Twitter systems and customer data".The email was signed simply as "Twitter".
