Twitter has been forced to hand over the details of the anonymous internet troll “PRGuy17” which is being described as a 'win' for Victoria, given its staunch support of the Andrews government.

Picture: NCA“Finally, we’re uncovering if and what the connection PRGuy has to the Dan Andrews government,” he said.
Lawyers for Rebel News and Mr Yemini filed proceedings in the Federal Court in February to compel Twitter to release the name and information of the user as well as the information relating to similar accounts created from the same IP address. At the time the journalist said he was forced to “jump through these hoops” purely because of the social media giant’s privacy terms.
“We’re very confident that Twitter will hand over the identification of the trolls,” Mr Yemini told Sky News Australia’s Rita Panahi in February.
