A mother heroically pulled her four children from a fire that tore through a shed in Geelong as family speak about the “beautiful angels”. Ashlynn, aged 18 months, and three-year-old Saige died when the blaze broke out at the Corio property in Victoria just after 10.30am on Sunday.
Children die in shed fire tragedy. Their older siblings Mavis, six, and five-year-old Isaac remain in a critical condition at the Royal Children’s Hospital. On Monday, the children’s uncle Anthony McGregor told reporters their parents “are not doing well” and their mother Jasmine is “distraught”. “When your kid cuts their hand, you know how it feels to be worried about their child and this is just multiplied by a million. She’s not coping,” he said.
