NSW Police said the people in the Mercades ran away from the crash scene.
A black Mercedes sedan collided head-on with a silver Toyota hatchback on Sadleir Avenue in Heckenberg about 9.40pm last night.
The two people inside the Toyota hatchback died at the scene."NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the occupants of the hatchback – a female driver and male passenger – however, they both died at the scene," NSW Police said in a statement.
