Two young men have died in separate accidents on Queensland roads this Christmas Eve.
A 28-year-old Gin Gin man driving a Honda Civic at Drinan in Bundaberg collided with a truck travelling in the opposite direction about 4.30pm.
The man died of his injuries at the scene, while the truck driver escaped the crash with minor injuries. Further north, a 19-year-old Blackwater man was driving a Nissan Navara dual cab utility on the Leichardt Highway about 30 kilometres north of Banana when the vehicle left the highway and struck a tree about 8.45am.Despite their efforts, the 19-year-old driver died at the scene.
Police are seeking anyone with dash cam footage or who might have any information about the accidents to come forward.
