Man Utd struggled across the final third in their opening two matches of the new Premier League season.
We're only two matches into the new season, and yet it is already feeling rather a lot like the last. Manchester United have scraped an unconvincing win at home and been brushed aside against a traditional rival away from home.
Garnacho was fortunate to keep his place for the trip to Tottenham after he had struggled against Wolves, and while he put in an improved performance, his decision-making let him down during a couple of key moments of the game. Had it won a fortuitous penalty for his side, then he might have been thanked. It didn't, and in quick succession, two of United's best openings had both been squandered by the same player.
If the youngster is to become a world-class forward, then he must be critiqued like one, and right now the overall performances haven't lived up to the billing.
