These city centre hotels have been rated among the top 100 places to stay in the UK for 2024
The two venues earned a place in The Sunday Times' round-up of the 100 best places to enjoy a hotel stay in the UK. Every year the list is published by The Times' experts - many of who have been writing for the guide for more than a decade.
Both School Lane Hotel, in Liverpool city centre, and The Municipal, on Dale Street, are named in the top 100 list. School Lane Hotel is the second luxury venue opened by the owners of the renowned Hope Street Hotel. The second hotel to make the list is The Municipal which opened on Dale Street in the Grade II-listed former Council building in May 2023. The impressive hotel boasts 179 rooms, as well as a restaurant, bar, and spa.
