The pair were arrested on Friday after police stopped a car.
Police received a report that a burglary was ongoing in the Loughill Road area of Cloughmills at around 5.25pm.
It was reported one man had knocked on the door of the property and walked inside once the door was opened.At the same time another man had gone into the garden and was beginning to remove fuel from the oil tank. Both men then left the area in a black car. Officers stopped the vehicle a short time later in the Cloughmills area and two men aged 35 and 36 were arrested on suspicion of a number of offences including burglary.The 35-year-old man has been charged with burglary with intent, criminal damage, theft and driving with excess alcohol. The 36-year-old man has been charged with possession of class B drugs.As is usual procedure all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service .
