Two men have been charged over a violent kidnapping in Fairfield earlier this month in which a man’s finger was severed. 7NEWS

The hostages — a man and woman, aged 26 and 24 respectively —Two men wearing balaclavas allegedly grabbed the pair and forced them into a vehicle in a carpark on Court Rd, Fairfield, at 11.40am on January 18.“The vehicle then exited the carpark and was last seen travelling west along The Horsley Drive,” NSW Police report.

Officers then located the pair in the Swan Bay area and took them to John Hunter Hospital, NSW Police told 7NEWS.com.au.Strike Force detectives executed two search warrants at homes in Smithfield and Cartwright from 6.45am on Tuesday, April 4.
