NSW Police have charged two men over the shocking damage to an expensive Vivid Sydney installation in Darling Harbour.

Three men were walking along Tumbalong Boulevard in Darling Harbour where they allegedly damaged a light display valued at approximately $280,000 about 3.15am on Sunday.Later the same day, officers issued a public appeal for assistance after being notified of the damage and released CCTV footage of the three men.Two men, both aged 19, attended Castle Hill Police Station about 7.30pm on Wednesday following police investigations.

Vivid Sydney has been running installations across the city since May 26 and will wrap up the month-long light display this Saturday.
