A 39-year-old and a 69-year-old have been hospitalised after police and emergency services were called to an incident off the coast of Kalbarri involving a boat believed to have been struck by a whale.
Two men are in hospital after police responded to an incident involving a boat which was believed to have been struck by a whale off the coast of Kalbarri .One man was flown to Royal Perth Hospital and is in a critical condition, while the other man was taken to Geraldton Hospital and stable.
The Water Police Coordination Centre in North Fremantle deployed Department of Fire and Emergency Services Marine Rescue Kalbarri to the scene, who escorted the vessel back to shore. The 69-year-old man was flown by the Royal Flying Doctor Service to Royal Perth Hospital just after midnight this morning in a critical condition.
