New South Wales Police have charged two men in relation to the Sydney riots that broke out in April following the stabbing of a religious leader at a church.
The number of people charged over the Wakeley riots in April has now reached 39 following two further arrests overnight.
Riots erupted involving a large group of individuals in what became a major public-order incident, with NSW Police's Strike Force Dribs carrying out extensive investigations to find those involved in riotous and violent behaviour. He was charged with riot and destroy/damage property during public disorder and was refused bail to appear before Mount Druitt Local Court on Tuesday.
