Health authorities in NSW confirm two new locally acquired coronavirus infections. There are also three travellers in hotel quarantine who tested positive.

NSW Health has recorded two new cases of locally acquired COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.

The other is a close contact of someone linked to the coronavirus cluster at the Great Beginnings Childcare Centre in Oran Park.There were 7,401 tests processed yesterday compared to 6,952 in the previous period. "The only way to find undiagnosed cases and prevent further transmission is to increase testing," Dr McAnulty said.
