The nurses, who were identified by Israeli TikTok user Max Veifer, made the comments during a video chat, stating they would not treat Israeli patients and would instead kill them. NSW Health Minister Ryan Park condemned the nurses' comments as 'vile' and 'disgusting,' assuring the Jewish community that they would always receive first-class healthcare in NSW. The nurses have been stood down and will never work in healthcare in NSW again.

An investigation has been launched and two NSW Health workers have been stood down after they said they would kill any Israel i patients who presented to the hospital where they worked. The comments were made in a video posted to TikTok on Wednesday morning by an Israel i user called Max Veifer. A man and woman, who appeared to be wearing NSW Health scrubs, spoke to Veifer via video chat website Chatruletka. The video appears to have been recorded while the two were at work.

The healthcare workers have since been identified as two nurses working at Bankstown Hospital. NSW Health Minister Ryan Park said the pair have been stood down and will never work in healthcare in NSW again. He condemned the healthcare worker’s comments saying they were “vile” and “disgusting” and assured Jewish community members they would always receive first-class healthcare in NSW.
