New South Wales police have arrested a man and a woman over their alleged involvement in a shooting in the state’s south.

New South Wales police have arrested a man and a woman following a daylight shooting in the state’s south that left a 26-year-old man in hospital.

Officers attached to Murray River Police District attended to the scene and located a 26-year-old man with gunshot wounds to his hand and shoulder. Following inquiries, a 35-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman were arrested in the small town of Macksville in the Nambucca Valley on Friday morning.
