Two people have been declared dead at the scene of an 'intense' house fire in Sydney on Sunday morning which has also left a child in a serious condition in hospital.
Six people were rescued and fled from the home on Rottnest Ave in Hinchinbrook after a blaze broke out just after 5:30am.

"Unfortunately, two of those three people have been confirmed to be deceased … which is a tragic outcome for both the family and the local community."
