Pittsburgh police say two officers were injured while arresting a man in the city on Friday afternoon. Officers were called to East Carson Street due to a man who was “acting violently and making threats” around 3 p.m., police said. When police arrived and approached the man, he began physically fighting them when they tried to arrest him, police said. Officers took the man to the ground, where he continued to fight.
