The incident occurred during “Yardfest,” a spring tradition on the Lincoln University campus.
Two people were shot and wounded late Saturday night during an event at Lincoln University, and the school’s residence halls were locked down temporarily, said Marc R. Partee, the head of campus security.
Lincoln University is a public state-related historically Black university near Oxford, Pennsylvania. He said the wounded — identified only as “females” who aren’t Lincoln students — were taken to Christiana Hospital, where they were listed in stable condition.
