About 65,000 people in Tarrant County voted early in Texas’ constitutional amendment election, which includes a statewide proposition to cut property taxes.That puts turnout for the early voting period at 5.2% — higher than the early voting turnout in 2019 and 2021, Texas’ previous constitutional amendment elections, but still just a fraction of the county’s total registered voters.
