“A limited number of consumers have reported they found small, pliable metal pieces in the product, and out of an abundance of caution, the company is recalling this product,”that approximately 29,819 pounds of Tyson’s Fully Cooked Fun Nuggets Breaded Shaped Chicken Patties have been recalled as the nuggets “may be contaminated with extraneous materials, specifically metal pieces.
So far, there has only been one oral injury reported to the FSIS in association with consuming the nuggets, however, “FSIS is concerned that some product may be in consumers’ freezers.”The recalled product has the establishment number “P-7211” on the back on the package and a Best If Used By date of Sept. 4, 2024,“Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.
According to the press release, shipped to distributors in Alabama, California, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia and Wisconsin in 29-oz packages..The recalled product has the establishment number “P-7211” on the back on the package and a Best If Used By date of Sept. 4, 2024,
