Heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury has made an impassioned plea to the United Kingdom government to act on the 'pandemic' of knife crime in Britain in the wake of the alleged stabbing death of his cousin.
Fury took to social media on Sunday to call for action after his 31-year-old cousin Rico Burton, who was also a junior boxer, was allegedly stabbed to death in Manchester over the weekend.

Superintendent Ben Ewart from Greater Manchester Police passed on his condolences to the family of the two victims of the “senseless attack” and confirmed two men had been arrested. “This was a senseless act and both victims should have returned home this morning after enjoying a night out with friends.”
