Both U.S. exports to China and U.S. imports from China fell faster this January than any January in at least 17 years, new data shows

Of the losses, two were less than 2%, one 7.85%, one 13.28% and only one close to the January 2019 decline, a 25.14% decline, in 2009 during the global economic crisis. The following year, in 2010, U.S. exports to China increased more than 65%.
